Proper hand hygeine and protective equipment are the gold standard practices to prevent the spread of antibiotic resistant infections. We present research conducted by Drs. Chris Pfeiffer and Graeme Forrest, who spent over a year observing patient and staff interactions in long-term care facilities to evaluate adherence to hygeine guidelines.
